Ron

Ron is your classic gamer/obsessed fanboy, quite a deadly combination when mixed at the wrong time, which is most of the time. He's completely crackers, often coming up with the most bizarre ideas or quotes, unleashing them upon his roommates at the most random times. Rumors abound that this may have been caused from sitting too close to the TV as a child, but so far this theory has not yet been proven. Don't even ask him about sword-pies.

Anime is one of his greatest passions. This would account for a fair chunk of his wackiness, and with Ranma ½ standing as his favorite series, it's no wonder why. One of his biggest secrets is that he used to hate anime in his younger days. Hey, if Sailor Moon was one of the first series you saw, you'd feel a bit of loathing too! These days, he'll give anything anime a try, but Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z still hold a black place in his heart.

He just adores games, be they console, PC or handheld, but a Nintendo Fanboy through and through. However, this won't stop him from playing games on C.O.T.N (consoles other than Nintendo), he may be crazy, but not crazy enough to knock back Final Fantasy or GTA. RPGs are his genre of choice, to be more specific, classical turn-based RPGs such as Final Fantasy or Golden Sun. Some of his favorite games are, in no particular order: Oni, Dungeon Keeper 2, The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time, Eternal Darkness, Golden Sun and Final Fantasy VIII. No, that's not a typo, despite what people say about FF8, Ron LOVES it.

Jim

Picture Ron, only with less of a PC gaming passion and much more sanity. That's Jim, our next member of the Game On! crew. Like Ron, Jim can get pretty wacky at times, but most of the time, he'll just be the coconspirator, joining in wholesome activities such as shouting out random anime attack names.

Which brings us to one of Jim's main interests: anime. Jim is a hopeless otaku, much like Ron, but unlike Ron, he's geared more towards action titles, such as Inu Yasha (his all-time favorite), Cowboy Bebop or Tokyo 2040. He has a distaste for dubs, much preferring a sub (not the sandwich kind, although he does rather enjoy meatball subs) anyday. He one day hopes to travel to Japan to live the phrase "Otaku loose in an anime shop"

Jim is a little more "select" when it comes to games, he pretty much only plays RPGs. But if the call for extra players in a Counter-Strike match is heard, Jim will trade in his sword for a SMG, and he's actually pretty good at it too. Jim has a special love for the classic titles, and is often a good place to start if you ever need to pick up an old Super NES game that you played many moons ago. Some of his favorite games are: Breath of Fire 2, Chrono Trigger, Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana 2 in English), Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX and Harvest Moon.

Chris

It's a bit of a mystery as to why Chris lives with Ron and Jim, nay, why he's even friends with them. He's very different to the both of them, one of the major differences being that Chris despises anime, thus, Ron and Jim's otakuness downright pisses him off at times. He thinks that anime are just childish cartoons (which gets him a whole bunch of death stares from Ron and Jim for using the words "childish" and "cartoons" in the same sentence as "anime") Don't get him wrong, he's still just as much as lover of Japanese culture as any other gamer, but anime is something that he'll probably never like. It's Ron and Jim's mission in life to change this, but at least he likes Cowboy Bebop, though he'd never admit to it.

Chris loves action and shooter titles, there's nothing he enjoys more then gunning down his enemies using a high-powered assault rifle in a bloody hail of bullets. This is why he's more of a PC gamer, and rightly so, first-person shooters are damned near impossible without a mouse. And so he has far more experience in PC related know-how then any of the Game On! crew. His job as a help desk attendant means that he can get all kinds of shiny software from his workmates, yay! His favorite game titles include: Medal of Honor : Allied Assault, Red Faction, Counter-Strike, Half-Life, Dungeon Keeper 2 and Starcraft.

Chris is the only member of Game On! who was not raised in Brisbane. He was actually born in a small rural town out in hicksville someplace. He later moved to Brisbane at the age of seven with his parents, where six years later, he met Ron and Jim. And the rest is history.
