The story of Game On! begins in Brisbane, Australia, where three school-aged boys meet during their first class on the first day of High School. The boys are Ron, Jim and Chris. They begin talking about how strange High School was compared to Primary School, but the topic soon shifts to one common interest among them : games. They instantly become good friends, and pretty much stay that throughout the rest of their school years.

Jump forward five or so years, Ron, Jim and Chris are now well out of school and facing their futures. The most pressing issue is what they are gonna do about housing. The solution? Why, to flat together of course! After a few months searching they land a small flat in the suburbs, and move in.

But bumming around the house all day won't pay the bills (unfortunately). So it was time to do some job hunting. Chris is the first to find work, his uncle gets him a job at the help desk of a small software company, Ron, after a bit of searching, finds employment at Electronics Boutique while Jim on the other hand is lucky enough to score a job as a writer on the local gaming magazine "Gaming Today". How? Let's just say "right place, right time, right game idea".

Although based on real places and objects, Game On! is actually a fictitious comic, so don't be at all surprised if you travel to Brisbane and find the many of the things featured in the comic don't even exist :)
